Aiven wrote a email advised that I should write down everything what happen in every single day in Singapore. Well, I can make it but in that case I’ll be a very busy man for surfing the internet. You might have already know that I have no idea to organize my time here, it seems that time past quickly here and I got nothing while I decided to go to bed.

Upon the class, what had happened in these days? Many things I want to share with you but that will be a hard job for my level right now. Well, why not just let us move on. I had met a boy who is my boss’s nephew and his name is Yang Kun in the evening of Jan 7th. He was some kind of acting as a representative for my boss. He took some fruit, milk, cookies etc for me, and give me some useful advices for living in Singapore. Thanks a lot.

And after a week waiting, I finally got my Student Pass yesterday, unfortunately, the British Council is not belong to the Singapore Government, so I can’t use this Student Pass for the student bus card which would be more cheaper than I have right now. I can use this Student Pass to apply a bank account. In my plan, I will go to the POSB bank for the deposit account tomorrow morning, this bank is highly recommended by Greanty.

I don’t want to talk about my normal class in British Council now because I need to go bed as soon as possible, I think it’s better to sleep early and get up early in the morning. Beside the normal class, British Council also have some base-interesting class like the Pop Music Club, Oral Class etc, these kind of class only may have one or two lessons per week. And I joined the Pop Music Club this evening after the normal class in the afternoon. Douglas, our DJ in the club also a teacher of course, showed us two songs both in original and the remake. Surprisingly, I had heard those songs for hundreds time before, did you? Have you heard about “Eternal Flame” and “Truly, Madly, Deeply”? I’m sure you do. “Eternal Flame” was the song sang by The Bangles in 1989, it was the top 1 in six countries. It was re-made by Atomic Kitten in 2001. As for “Truly, Madly, Deeply”, I like almost every songs come from Savage Garden, this song was re-made by Cascada in 2006. I like the original than the remake, because there’re songs about love, so if you change the rhythm to the rock type, I would wonder that’s not the meaning of love. The songs about love, I think there should be in a classic and slowly rhythm so can feel the same emotions as normal lovers. So, that’s it, I need to have a bath and review some vocabulary later. For God’s sake, I have to use the Lingoes to remind me how to type ‘vocabulary’.

The Bangles – Eternal Flame (the original)

Savage Garden – Truly madly deeply (the original)

Atomic Kitten – Eternal Flame (the remake)

Cascada – Truly Madly Deeply (the remake)

    Wow!
    The remade “… Deeply” does sound rocky!
    Might be quite another kind of special love.

    Be careful to organise time efficiently,
    and take everything easy as usual.
    I’m sure 永流 can make it.

    @Greanty 确实在大一点的商城都能看到它的ATM,而且British Council特别声明用POSB的卡免手续费,真晕啊。
    @漫步 兄弟就不要在这里装嫩了,呵呵
    @lvxuling I’m not sure about the remake songs. But I do like your signal of ↑.
